The Hotel & Resort Lafodia, on the islet of Lopud, is an elegant and modern structure surrounded by the sea and the green Mediterranean maquis. The hotel, aligned with the highest international standards, opened after a radical renovation; among the interventions there were: the expansion of the Hall and the bar area, the construction of a new outdoor bar by the pool, the renovation of the restaurant, of the rooms and of the terraces, the construction of a new congress hall and new pedestrian paths with relaxation areas, in the large park around the hotel.
Myrtha Pools built the large pool, usingits Myrtha technology. The pool, located on the terrace overlooking the bay of Lopud, blends with the surrounding environment, thanks to the free form and the white coating that create continuity with the sea and the colors of the island. The choice of the finishes such as the skimmer, installed in the upstream part, and the cascade overflow gutter for the downstream part, complete the effect, together with the hydromassage area, with colored LED lights and a beutiful staircase.
The strategic location of the Hotel Lafodia – only fifty minutes away from the mainland – offers the possibility to visit the different points of interest of the island such as the ancient stone houses surrounded by splendid citrus groves and gardens, the charming little port, the uninhabited fortresses as well as the beautiful noble villas, churches and convents of the 16th-17th century.
